Welcome to The Potter’s House Christian Church
Founded in 1978 in a powerful move of God The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship of Darwin is a local church with a global vision. We currently have churches in Alice Springs, Sydney and Townsville. We also have planted churches in South Africa, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. We are part of Christian Fellowship Ministries, which has over 2,400 churches worldwide.
We at The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship take seriously Christ’s commission to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Therefore, our vision as a Fellowship has always been to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission through Evangelism, Discipleship and Church Planting. It was Christ Himself who commanded His followers to “make disciples of all the nations,” and the simple obedience to this command is the passion and driving force of our church.
With this focus, we are constantly endeavoring to reach unsaved and unchurched people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to spread the good news of God’s love and saving grace throughout the world. Whether we use Christian bands, movies, dramas, street preaching or door-to-door evangelism; our focus, vision and mission is to help lead people to a personal and saving relationship with our Saviour Jesus Christ.
What to Expect
We have a diverse congregation; each with their own story of what Jesus has done in their life. We are a Bible-based, non-denominational, Pentecostal church with a warm family atmosphere and a contemporary style of worship. Upon entering our doors our friendly ushers will greet you and help you to find available seating.
Our Service
Each service begins with contemporary worship songs to encourage and edify you. We then pray for needs that people have placed on a prayer card located just inside the doors of the church. We take an offering in order to honour the Lord with our giving, as He has so generously given to us. Announcements are briefly made, followed by the preaching of the Word of God before the service closes.
After the service we hope you will take a few moments to visit with us, as we would love to get to know you better and answer any questions you may have.
